"Orthodox Easter", Contemporary Oil Painting, Dennis Kotelko Art, Young Child, Candles

When I was a child, our family attended a Ukrainian Eastern Orthodox church in Canada. Easter was a big Holiday, starting with a sunrise service, lighting of many candles, priests with long robes and vestments, and incense. There would be blessing of Easter eggs, ham and Easter breads.

This young child in the painting appears tired and wants to get home for the big food feast!

12"x12" oil on canvas board, available for $100, includes S&H. Contact me at Kotelko@aol.com
