- Dennis Kotelko is an emerging artist who began oil painting a couple of years ago, while recovering from a traumatic brain injury. He enjoys painting colorful faces, scenes with people, and old world places. "My painting is often inspired by music and lyrics, especially that of Christian music artists" ..."as a beginner, I am developing a free style using bold colors, graphic shapes and distinct outlining... I have been blessed with a wonderful wife, Kathi and four incredible kids. Prior to my brain injury I was a busy anesthesiologist for over 30 years, but God gave me a wake-up call, a second chance, and now I want to give back through my painting."
